Resources for Researchers

In 2001, participants in the first World Social Forum declared that “another world is possible,” affirming the existence of alternatives to hegemonic globalized capitalism. This refrain has since been echoed at gatherings and protests around the world, amplified by the worldwide Occupy protests. But what are these economic alternatives? This section provides resources – definitions, links, and bibliographies – on solidarity economy topics to help researchers, students, activists, and organizers understand the possibilities (and reality) of a solidarity economy.

We’re always interested in improving our resource lists and bibliographies.  If there’s anything you’d like to see here, please contact us using this form.
